A Shiva Temple is under construction in the mountains between Asheville and Waynesville, North Carolina, U.S.A.

Constructed with over 70 tons of hand-carved granite from South India, the temple will be located in the community of Mount Soma.

Construction is expected to be completed October 1, 2009.
