Groundbreaking Ceremony
On April 17, 2008, the visiting Yogi Raj Swami from the Hindu Center of Charlotte performed the sacred groundbreaking ceremony of Somanath Temple. The Ganesh puja, nava graha puja (nine planets), and bhumi puja (groundbreaking) were all performed at the site.
